Marco is a Chinese calligraphy artist who began studying traditional Chinese brush calligraphy at the age of six. Through years of systematic training and long-term practice from childhood to adolescence, he has developed a solid foundation and a mature personal style. His work focuses on the Zhao Mengfu (Zhao Style) school of calligraphy. He has a deep understanding of its centered brush techniques, elegant structure, and overall rhythm and composition, gradually forming his own artistic approach through continuous study and creation. He specializes in Zhao-style running script (Xingshu), characterized by smooth brushwork, balanced structure, and natural flow. He is also skilled in large-scale clerical script (Lishu), noted for its strong presence, stability, and visual impact, making it suitable for artistic display and spatial decoration. Committed to tradition while embracing contemporary aesthetics, Marco continues to explore ways to present the spirit of Chinese calligraphy to audiences from different cultural backgrounds.
